Program Title: Circle of Security and the Self-of-the-Therapist: Exploring Personal Parenting to Deepen Clinical Practice

Program Description: 

This live professional training is designed to enhance counselors’ clinical skills and self-awareness by integrating the Circle of Security® attachment model with self-of-the-therapist reflection. Participants will explore their personal histories of being parented (and/or parenting), and how these attachment experiences influence their professional presence and client relationships. This experiential workshop deepens counselors’ understanding of attachment theory, reflective functioning, and countertransference management. Strategies will be offered for integrating these insights into ethically sound, client-centered practice.
